PLEASE BE ADVISED: The redevelopment and enhancement project for Te Waiariki Ngawha Springs is well underway. We will be closed from Sunday 15th March 2020 until December 2020 to allow the project's completion. We look forward to seeing you when our new facilities are reopened.
Te Waiariki Ngawha Springs are natural geothermal healing waters that come directly from the earth.
There are 16 mineral baths each with unique nutrient and temperature characteristics, used for centuries for relaxation as well as their therapeutic qualities and healing properties.
They are culturally significant and have a rich social, environmental and political history. The Parahirahi Ngawha Waiariki Trust as kaitiaki has a responsibility to ensure that the springs are maintained and developed so that future generations can enjoy their healing waters
