Wednesday - Sunday 7am-9pm
General Session times
Each session is 2 hours. There are 5 sessions per day. You can book online by clicking the 'Book Now' button anytime or phoning 09 405 2245 on Wednesday - Sunday. We advise that you book in advance to ensure you are not disappointed. |

Important information
- Session starts immediately and you will need to vacate the pools at the end time stated
- You must wear appropriate swimwear (togs, shorts, singlet, t-shirt, sarong). Use of old swimwear and towels is advised as the smell can stay in your swimwear for a number of washes.
- Towels are available for hireage ($10) at the front desk
- Please refer to general terms and conditions below for more details around the use of the springs .
- If you are eligible for a Te Tai Tokerau concession please ensure you bring proof of address that our staff can sight on arrival. If you have paid online and you do not bring proof of address you will need to cover the difference between the appropriate rate and what you have already paid.

Must reside within the Northland Regional Council boundary, see map below. You must bring proof of address that our staff can sight on arrival. Cancellation policy

They are to ensure a clean, healthy, safe and secure environment for all users.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children are not the responsibility of other customers or Pool Attendants
- No nudity or revealing swim wear. Swim wear that exposes buttocks is not appropriate for both male and female here at Ngawha Springs. Please be considerate and dress conservatively. If you don’t have appropriate swim wear with you, please ask at reception for an alternative.
- Children need to wear pants and babies a swimming nappy.
- Do not enter the pools if you have flu symptoms, diarrhoea, or are menstruating.
- No running, jumping or diving
- Don’t dig mud from in or around the pools – do not use the mud on your body. This damages the pool walls
- No alcohol or illegal substances to be bought into the premises. Please note you can be refused entry if you are intoxicated.
- No smoking or vaping in the pools complex
- No food is to be eaten in or near the pool areas or in the pool shelters. Areas for eating are at the café space and the decks at the main building.
- No glass
- No spitting
- Be considerate and respectful to all other bathers
- Remove rings and jewellery as the mineral waters may tarnish them

- Please, keep your head above the water at all times.
- Stay hydrated, sip water – sun, heat, wind will dehydrate you.
- Be careful how long you spend in the hotter pools if you have medical conditions.
- Mind the steps and seats in our pools – they are not easy to see due to the colours of our mineral springs.
- Do not leave your belongings or valuables unattended or in the changing rooms.
Pool Attendants are here to help
- Please be kind and respectful to the staff - rude and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated
- Please let Pool Attendants know if you have any concerns, queries or complaints. Let them know if you have an accident, slip or fall.
- Pool Attendants may need to remind customers of these policies from time to time. Please don’t be offended if this is necessary.
- If you do not follow Pool Attendants requests, you will be asked to leave.
Cancellation policy
- Parahirahi Ngawha Waiariki Trust Trading as Ngawha Springs (the Trust) reserves the right to cancel any scheduled booking as the result of weather conditions and/or utility/infrastructure failure and/or a visitor/customer non adherence to the cancellation requirements outlined within this policy.
- Customers will be advised as soon as possible of any cancellations not caused by them and in these instances customers will be entitled to a full refund.
- The Trust also reserves the right to deny access to the complex if it is believed a visitor/customer is affected by alcohol or drugs (recreational or prescribed) such that they may be a hazard or danger to themselves or others.
- Visitors/customers are required to contact the facility on (09) 4052245 or at [email protected] if to cancel a booking.
- Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before will not incur a cancellation fee.
- Bookings cancelled within 24hours of their booking will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
- No shows (visitors/customers who do not turn up for their reservation) will not be entitled to arefund.
- Refunds will only be issued through the original booking office/system.
